More water volume in a small tank is a good thing. I used to run a AC 70 in a small 5 gallon reef. If your worried about flow put the AC 30 or 20 impeller in the 70.

I'm starting to think it may be some kind of bba but I'm not to sure. It doesn't look like filament or thread algae and it is rather difficult to rub off. The snails in my tank kind of seem to eat it...

Yeah it is a 20L. I wish I had moss for the center log but no one around here had any so maybe in the future it will get some. The stems are still growing since I just planted them yesterday.

Well after having a pico reef and a 135g saltwater I've decided to go a bit more low tech and easier to maintain. I've had a few planted tanks before but those were mainly stuff of the java variety...
