Yeah usually when it's the first time they drop, imo it's like the first time you try something hard you'll suck at it. Then the next time you get better.

Use a wooden chopstick for a DiY diffuser. the ones in the red sleeves. Those work really well and do not require a large amount of psi. I've heard of using cotton but i never got it to work well.
