Didn't do too well without the CO2 the HC. I still have the tank but with not many plants. Maybe will redo it in near future. Currently working on a 60p which is coming along great.

Please make sure to only use water if you have an atomic diffuser from GLA. It clearly says on the instructions as well. If you use oil it will mess up your diffuser.

Agreed, removed the plastic piece from the back. It took less than a minute. I am using HOB filter so i don't need that.

I selected the HC for the foreground plant. Some of it wasn't in good shape...

So, I got everything and trying out a few different layouts. I am using lava rocks under the Seiryu Stones to make it more stable. Trying to set these stones in a way that aqua soil does not slide.

I am also doing a fluval chi. just waiting for substrate to arrive. You can use DHG on the back. Maybe UG or HC in the front and some rocks on the right with short stem plant. maybe s. repens.
