It's useless to measure TDS if you're not using RO. Why? Because TDS affects shrimp differently from hardness. Osmotic pressure is something they need to deal with, hardness is something they need....

UGF is normal or reverse? I've had a bad experience with normal. Sticking to reverse for a while. Less gunk builds up if you don't get debris passing through the substrate IMO.
