generally I think most reuse them once or twice...

generally I think most reuse them once or twice and then replace... if reusing them, I would double check for leaks... also if your co2 system can take a perma-seal might be better option

For me, i separated the nodes of R inundatus and planted below the runners... new runners wiil form and my existing nodes didnt suffer from being planted a little deeper

A better CO2 injecting method would be a reactor, (ista max mix), I know there are lots of DIY reactors out there but its around 10 bucks... and if your co2 is on 24x7 then you could reduce the flow...

after many years of keeping cichlids, I took a 55 and set it up planted with ember tetras and celestial pearl danios... Its one of my favorite tanks also btw I was able to pick them up...
