well I recieved my ray2 and I have to say it is very nice.. It also is no brighter than the PC lamps I was using. Thats not a negative.. I am glad since the system is already working with the lamp...

how tall is too tall
I am searching for a 100 gallon or so tank, and have found a 115. But its 31 inches tall. Figure 28" top to substrate.. Is that too tall? Would it make lighting tough? Besides needing really long...

thanks guys, the lumen rating is about 50%...
thanks guys, the lumen rating is about 50% higher, I believe the 23w is about 1400 and the 32w right about 2100.
Hoppy,, I have the 12" reflectors from HD and the 23 watt cfls are recessed almost 2...
