well I recieved my ray2 and I have to say it is very nice.. It also is no brighter than the PC lamps I was using. Thats not a negative.. I am glad since the system is already working with the lamp...

how tall is too tall

thanks guys, the lumen rating is about 50%...
thanks guys, the lumen rating is about 50% higher, I believe the 23w is about 1400 and the 32w right about 2100.
Hoppy,, I have the 12" reflectors from HD and the 23 watt cfls are recessed almost 2...
