right, but there are some that will work. You just have to make sure it says "max inlet 3000 psi" They are rare, but if you find it, you can just add a 1/4" MNPT pipe (3"-2" long) to the regulator...

I dont see any carpet plants, just some froeground plants. There is a difference. I think of carpet plants, as in grass or clover type plants. Grass plants are especially hard to grow into a carpet...

I think that is a compression fitting with a tube insert. In that case, you don't need the insert or the teflon tape at all. And you may have ruined the compression ferrules.
