amano shrimp or excel, or whatever you chose to remove it with is only a temporary solution. the best way to get rid of it is to find the imbalance and fix it.

its just a shame. any time you introduce a new fish it can really mess up an eco system. i hope that these new fish are a first, and they do not become invasive. but odds are against that.
