I'd say the way the glosso is growing that there's not enough light reaching those plants. Even with poor ferts the plants will grow sideways unless the substrate is completely lacking any nutrients....

I think it's a normal leaf fern. What i've been doing is taking off any new runners growing at the tip of leaves and planting them back in the middle of the plant. That's what making it look so good.
