I have 1 Sat+ and 1 Sat plugged into the same power strip that is plugged into a wall switch controlled wall power outlet.

When I turn the switch on, both units flash 2 times before they turn on...

The general target is 40 ppm for planted tanks. You really do not want N to fall to 0 ppm as plants need it for growth. There is some debate whether lower N will make red plants...
