Thanks guys! To my knowledge, I can't think of any "mini" amazon swords, but once it grows too large it'll probably be replaced by an anubias nana "petite" or a java fern.

Just a tip. Low tech isn't always low maintenance. Actually you may save money on plants by going for a little bit more and buying a nicer light. You won't have to shop so hard to get very low light...

If the tetras aren't schooling too well, get a "predator" fish. Most types of dwarf cichlids will do. They don't do any harm, but make the tetras suspicious.
