+1 for boiling. I put a piece in my tank for over a month and it didn't even start to waterlog. Some pieces are just stubborn. Boiling should fix that though.

I like my Aquatops... They are pretty big but nothing that can't fit under a tank large enough to require one. Bigger filters means more room for media as well!

I love my finnex. I use a 24 over a 30 '' tank with good results. They don't have dimmers though so it's a bit hard to really dial in the amount of light you want
