Could you explain how they are caught in the wild cause I have seen documentaries of fish catching in the Amazon and the fish were being harvested in the height of the dry season from small ponds...

Not sure about your syno but mine was over 7" before I re-homed him to a pond, and mine started out in a 10 gallon then a 15 before going into a 90g.
