I decided to roll one of.the edges up on the cling wrap for this reason. Fwiw, it doesn't need daily misting. I haven't misted it all and it growing and not browning at all.

I don't like the humidity either. Generally, we start the day with around 50% and it works it's way down to about 10% before it starts to cool off. You can really feel the difference if it clouds up...
