Ok, will water changes also help? And physical removal is helpful too? Also the crypt isn't caked in hair algae but there is a decent amount on it, would I have to just toss it?

Well there are root tabs in the substrate, seachem flourish twice a.week, and excel once a week. Then tanks been up for a month. The lighting is a Phillips t8 8 strip bulb.

The lighting is a Phillips t8 8 watt strip light there are root tabs in the substrate and I dose excel twice a week and flourish comprehensive once a week.

But he doesn't act like he doesn't want to eat. It's like he just doesn't want pellets. I actually have metronidazole on hand, how would I go about treatment for him?
