Yeah, my ghosts were troopers. They lived well over a year even from petsmart at .36 a piece. I only lost them after they changed tanks rather quickly due to emergency reasons

Thanks! It's definitely going to look a million times better once the staurogyne fills in. Honestly I like how this variety carpets a lot more than the staurogyne repens

Yes they are. Both were sold as nana petite but one is much smaller and grown better. I bought some more this weekend too which is a lot like the smaller variety in here.

Very cool! Having this 12L to groom while taking phone support calls is great. I could never spend this much one on one of my larger home tanks

I run aquateks paintball regulator/solenoid on two tanks. It's 90 bucks and includes a bubble counter and generally once you dial it in, it stays between 1 an 2 BPS. I'd recommend an atomic diffuser...

I really like my eheim (I have a vintage 2011) and my 501. On this tank the 501 should be fine though. Either way more eheim filters will just make it easier to pull the trigger on other tank setups...

I wanted to do one but its at work so simplicity as the recipe. It'd be awesome to have one of these in a two level rack with a sump/riparium underneath in a 33 long (48x12x12)

You may want to rethink the filter too. These things are rough to get good circulation in and a more powerful filter or a power head will help

No problem. I like the single addition approach but have seen tanks with both wood and stone that look nice. HC is pretty common as well as dwarf hairgrass, but its really up to you and your vision...
