Took some readings 48 hours after adding two crystal reds, two ammanos, and two ottos; the readings were also taken 48 hours after a 30% water change. Readings still zeros across the board!

Added two crystal reds, a couple of Ammanos, and three Ottos last night. So far all is well. Will take another reading later today.

Ah, did not know that - but I am still not a big fan of snails just yet. Right now I'm just manually scrapping the glass, it's quite minimal. I'll have to read more about them snails.

Yes, I am using the ADA canisters. Around 3 weeks, but I am dosing a lot of CO2 now to minimize algae threat. Have it running at about 3bps, 10 hours a day.

I've added Amano shrimps 1 week after flooding an emersed tank. Everyone was happy. All readings zero. I don't see a problem. 3rd week now, shrimps are happy :-)

I am going through the exact same symptoms, except mine is already a dense carpet from emersed to submersed. I suspect iron deficiency.

Flooded the tank today. Happy with results. Broke my CO2 pollen diffuser though - luckily had a backup. Will be replacing that in a week or so.
