Perhaps off topic but I think that piece of wood is ugly and it's dimensions do not suit your tank size.

40-50% weekly change with dechlorination. You don't need to worry about the fine details unless perhaps you have some very delicate fish. It's not rocket science and the chemistry may be of interest...

I had one and sold it after a couple of months. They are a waste of money. Slow to show changes and unless you are going crazy with CO2, not necessary. Just count the bubbles per minute and watch the...

I would suggest getting a canister filter and underfeeding for a while. All food should be gone within 1 minutes. 50% water change weekly.

It sounds like your water condition is extremely bad.

Honey dwarf gourami group question

Hi all.

I am thinking of getting a group (5-7ish) of dwarf honey gourami. They will be with mostly cardinal tetras in a 60cm standard ADA tank.

What I am worried about is if there will be too...

CO2 absolutely does not kill Amano shrimp. They are very very strong. All ADA tanks have shrimp and CO2, as does mine, with no problems.

Thanks for the replies.
I am using an ADA light and ferts. "Brightly K" is potassium, so I will pump and extra 3ml daily and see if it helps. Maybe the warmer water effects the chemical balance.

Water temperature and plant health

Hi.

My tank has no problems but recently I noticed some of my Moneywort (Bacopa Monnieri) have holes developing in leaves which slow weaken, brown, and fall off.

At the moment this is only...

They are glass and do not distract from the aquarium. Depending on placement they almost disappear.

At night (at least with the ADA model, others I am not sure) you can lift it above the surface...
