I don't think there is a wrong way of doing this....

I don't think there is a wrong way of doing this. I just chop the top off in case of ludwigias and let the plant branch out more. I have these growing over anubias and java fern which don't reguire...

1) No problems what so ever planting glosso and hairgrass - it stays put even with SAEs grazing on it. Plus planting is a snap with a pair of tweazers as EC allows...

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I believe that the fish loss was 100% due to O2 depletion. I say this because that morning ALL of my fish were swimming at the surface and the bubbles they produced...
