IMHO, if you desire a med --> high light setup, then you should put those funds towards pressurized co2 first and use 6500k cfls as an initial lighting solution and upgrade lighting if and when funds...

It is the change in ph for a given kh which gives us a good measure of co2 ppm.

But tropica specs this system for up to 60L tanks @ 150ml dosing for 30 days...

IMHO, it is insufficient for 20G "heavily...
