Please honestly criticize this scape, i'm lost as to how to help it. Hopefully adding some plants and hardscape will help to battle the (tiny :P ) algae problem.

I'd look at removing the pots, and replacing them possibly with some inert rocks or wood. Maybe some thicker plants would also make a good impact too.
