I agree with hoppy. 90% of the time, I take screws out after the glue dries and reuse them on another project. It's like using hundreds of tiny clamps.

just get some motorcycle face mask scratch remover from autozone and polish it. It's true that you can't hardly get it off glass. But, acrylic it can be buffed out.

Be careful using ANY chemical...

I am in N. Alabama. go to O'reillys and get their oil dry brand it's nice and dark gray when wet and 100% clay no additives. Just make sure you give it a quick rinse because it is very dusty.
