10,000k is white with a tint of blue. It may not look apparent, but it is. 12,000k is where you can easily notice the blue tint

It's possible, but that depends on the betta. Each has a different personality. Generally bettas and shrimps don't go together because naturally bettas hunt crustaceans and shrimp fit that category...

You can get it even with a lid. It's a protein layer. Some things you could do if you don't want to spend extra money on a HOB, powerhead, overflow, or skimmers... Move your spay bar up more or angle...
