Keeping eq from going over the rim. Flow issues.

So I have a 38gal run by a 2217. I'm not impressed with my flow around the tank. Corners collect gunk quickly.

The goal is to get all eq out of the tank that I can, and only have bulkheads through...

That is my concern with a thermo valve. I live in Massachusetts with a shallow well. Season changes seem to swing it a lot (unscientific observation).

Perhaps pipe in the thermo valve to approx...

The bubble counter began leaking fluid at the base. I went to tighten it thinking it was a standard pipe thread brass fitting….and its NOT....

Well. The brand on it is labeled "labclear". I found the unit on their website, but no price. The smaller step down version is on ebay for $150. I suppose that's like a lot of lab equipment...
