I suspect the LEd's are in series and driven constant voltage.
It is very possible that you could hook any number of lights to that now extra blue channel....

A switching power suppy x number of led's whos V(f) is under the ps voltage and a current limiting resistor..

O2 regs are built "cleaner" i.e. no oils to combust w/ oxygen..
Technically they should be more expensive...
