Glad it worked out for you. I tended to be more cautious since I wasn't sure of all the plants that were sensitive to Glut and didn't want to melt my new plants.

My ACs are all very used so I sometimes have to mess with them to avoid...

Yep that light will blind you for sure! I don't think you can get more spread using a different spectrum but a pinkish bulb (such as the zoomed flora sun) might not be as blindingly white as...

I used my tests frequently until I got things dialed in because I modified the EI low light weekly dose recommendations to better suit my tanks.
