Yup this is exactly what I was thinking. I saw that Lowe stated it was gradual, but that's a pretty vague term and up for interpretation. I think it'll take some trial and error when the 24/7 finally...

I was actually thinking the same exact thing. I think what we really need to find out first is the duration of the sunset/sunrise ramping.

I don't agree about the evilness, but I can agree on the hardiness of moss. I put some Fissidens on my manzanita. That manzanita was overridden with algae for over 6 months and I no longer saw any...

Ah. Yeah leaving my phone there would put a major kink in that plan. Didn't realize the "controller" unit would need to remain in proximity to the IR receiver. Thanks for the clarification.

I was thinking more along the lines of what the controllers can do but in the form of a phone app (is that even possible?). I wouldn't be looking to replicate the remote on my phone. That would be...

How likely is it that someone creates a phone app for controlling the light? My LG G3 has an IR blaster that I use to control my TV and cable box. Would be awesome if I could control my aquarium...

Mine has actually leveled out and stopped jumping around on its own. The only thing that has changed is that the water level in my 88g bubble counter has dropped.

Doesn't on mine. Do as burr said and stick some cotton ball or a chopstick in the end of the Co2 line so that you're getting small bubbles going into the filter.

I'm interested in this as well as I'm also using the Edge pre-filter on my AC70.

I'm running my Co2 directly into the intake tube as well so when the flow slows down, so does my Co2 dissolution.

Yeah I can see people needing a consistent working pressure being PO'd, but my situation doesn't really require it so as long as I keep a consistent bubble count I'm ok with the fluctuating pressures.

Do you have a drop checker? I still think your fish would be fine at 1 bps.

I can't comment on adding a solenoid as I have no idea whether your proposed idea would work.

But if you can swing...

How large is your fish tank? If you only have it running at 1 bps, I wouldn't worry about gassing your fish unless you're running a really small tank.
