Thanks for the replies! Seems like a no-go on the Ecoxotics. I really want to switch to LEDs (energy efficiency and longevity), but I am not a great DIY kinda guy...especially not when electricity...

Ladies and Gents,

I have a 30 gallon (high) that currently has an icecap balast and 2 VHO T12 tubes. This setup has worked well for the past 4 years as my plants are thriving, and must be pruned...
