Thanks for the reply. Most of them have low temperature tolerance but i think the crypts and mayaca fluvitalis would like it a bit warmer. I know the white clouds actually prefer it cooler.

It looks like diatoms to me especially if it comes off easily. They will just disappear after a while. Mine took about two months. I didn't use anything just kept cleaning it off then a water change....

About ten months ago I was given a tank. I cycled it and rushed out and bought some fancy goldfish. I got good food and a top quality massive filter and read all about how to look after my new pets....
