I recently added a Koralia 3 to my 90 gallon tank and I'm worried that it's too powerful. It definitely eliminates any dead spots, but I'm kind of afraid that it is stressing out my baby angels. If...

Welcome! :D

I run a RR tank too, and keep everything in the sump. I'm building a CO2 system, which I'll inject into the sump near my return also. The only possible issue I see with your setup is...

If I remember correctly, they don't like vendor reviews around here, but there seem to be lots of good sellers on aquabid, and you can check feedback, etc there.

It's 2-3 inches, soil underneath with pool filter sand on top. I've got a bunch of Root Medic caps on the way to stick in there. I'm going to start looking at mosses and crypts, for sure. I'm...

I got my baby angels on Thursday and they're doing great so far. I built them a roomy "breeder net" type thing out of plastic canvas because being in the big tank with the other fish seemed to...

I was super surprised! The guy had to go look up the price because they weren't labeled, and I thought for sure he would come back and quote some crazy price.

ABN at Petco?!

I just got back from my local Petco, and despite completely resisting the $1 per gallon sale, I did come home with two albino bristlenose plecos! The guy there said they were a new item and that...

I just ordered 8 itty bitty baby assorted Philippine blue angels. The plan is to grow them out and let them pair up, then decide who to keep. To be honest, I'd be happy with one big fat happy pair...

Ooookay....

Since that last post I have gotten my T5 fixture back (yay!), picked up a group of 6 green cories, and have almost completely decided to get angels instead of discus. So it looks like...

Yeah, I though about that. I'm hoping some well-placed plants could hide it. The tank has been in storage so long I honestly can't remember how big the crack is or its exact placement. I'm gonna...

Riparium with cracked tank?

I have a tank that I'd like to do something with but it's cracked. I think it's either a 60 or 65 gallon tank and there is a crack on one end pane that runs from the top frame, across the pane, and...

Not too shabby. Wish I could...

On the cypress knees, you'll definitely have to weight them. Even after being in my tank over a year, the large piece I have still doesn't sink. And it looks much better if you peel the bark off.
