the discus is a red turqoise, and yes it will get quite large for a 20gal

they only way it could be in there comfortably is to have the tank bare, a 30gal, or 37 gal would be more sufficient

yeah, it's pretty bad even with over 20...

yeah, it's pretty bad

even with over 20 rinses it still looked like the tank was full of mud, only after 10 gravel vacs did it start to clear up

leave it the way it is, i think it looks awesome, those discus will look great in that tank, and the cards will compliment their colors well, just make sure you get that PH down to 6, lol

the plants have really started to take off, the cabomba has grown at least and ince and a half, and the red stem hornwort may need to be trimmed very soon, lol

the glosso has also...

but if it doesnt work out, i have 2 20 watt florescents over someterrestrial plants i can use, thanks...

ok, so i decided to get a ten gallon and see what i could do, since i dont have the correct lighting in my 55gal and i didnt want the plants in there to go to waste, so heres a little documantation...
