Do it. I had one that was overflowing with blyxa. My LFS and friends loved it. I'm currently in the process of "rebuilding," and will probably have 2 20L tanks for growout/Iwagumi tanks.

Both are suitable for a 10g tank. I tried a 2232 on my 10g and was disappointed in the amount of flow it provided. It did a great job of filtering the water, but don't expect much oomph out of it....

For those new to rams, the Bolivian ram (Mikrogeopgagus altispinosa) is a much easier to keep than the GBR (M. m ramirezi) and its variants.

Picked up 20 Cardinals and a few Otos yesterday morning. So far all is well in the QT tank. It was simply too good a deal, especially when the LFS wants $4+ for a cardinal.

I run a 2213 on my 10g currently and 2217 on my 40g. Both will be transferred to my 75g soon. I plan to set the 13 up for mech filtration only.

This is correct. I have a 10 gallon with AS, no CO2 and the bulb and hood that came with it. The DHG still grows under a HEAVY cover of floaters (salvinia and wisteria).

Agreed. I like to keep my drop checker on the yellower side of green. I haven't checked my pH in over a year, but with soft water and Aquasoil, it was low 6ish last I checked.

My SA fish love it!

I agree with the other responses. Up the nitrate a bit and see what happens. There's a good bit of trial and error associated with figuring out a dosing regime. Don't be afraid to change things.
