i joined the no lid club myself a couple months back. water top offs only take a minute. although, i hate seeing the occasional dog hair floating around in my tank.

yeh i did the same thing. spent 5.99 at petsmart, now my tank is about 90% swords from that initial planting. about crypt parva, it grows sooooooooo slow. there are better carpet plants.
