thread-like white worms

cleaning my tank today I saw very tiny thread-like white worms about 1/2 inch long. What in the world have I got here? Never seen them in the two years tank has been set up. Anyone?? Thanks-

Lowered nitrate level and green water-

When I first set up my 90 gallon planted I had loads of trouble with green water. Then I started dosing nitrate with stump remover to keep it at about 10-15.Now I have alot more large angels....
