Complete dosing

Hi all, I've been dosing my tank for about three weeks now. Everything looks great, but my red plants aren't... red. I was wondering if this could be due to a lack of a specific nutrient.

I'm...

Solenoid is kind of useless without a timer! When you do get it, just set it to turn on an hour or so before the lights come on so there is CO2 in the water when the plants need it.

Decision time: GBR or shrimp (or both?)

So I've had my tank running for about 6 weeks now and it's coming time to ditch the platys I've been using at "test fish" while I figured out CO2 and let the tank stabilize. The tank is a 36x18x17...
