Dwarf chain loaches will mercilessly eat snails, get more than 3 though, a group of 5 or 6 will do very well in your tank. They are very gregarious fish if you get a big enough group.

does anyone have the warranty for the milwaukee regulator?

Hi, I have an MA957 regulator+solenoid+bubble counter combo. My unit has gone on the fritz and it's passed the 6 month warranty. I'm trying to get a replacement thru my gold card's extended purchase...

There is nothing inherently wrong with the rex reactor if you have sufficient flow in your tank. If it works for you, don't worry about it.

You know, the algae-infested 'scapes can have their own kind of beauty, in a sense I think some of the look more 'natural' than some complete algae-free tanks. Except for BBA, no one likes BBA :)....
