Absolutely. IMO Apisto. cacatouides are some of the easiest breeding apistos around. I have brought them home from the store on Sunday and had eggs by Monday when the lights come on.

I don't think the microwave would be a good idea. Take your time with the soil and you will be pleased with the results.
I did not sift mine and I haven't ran into any problems.

They do just fine at normal...
