Substrate is just Tahitian Moon Sand. The Taiwan moss and subwassertang are just placed in there, not tied down or anything. But the crypts are really going strong.

I have these also - but not too many. I don't find them as much of a bother as MTS. They are tiny and flat, easy to squish. I think they are also too small for the assassins to get at.

I have Taiwan moss that grows like a weed. I keep trimming and throw the trimmings in a bucket of water. Stays healthy there with no attention - sometimes not even a light on it.
