Yeah usually when it's the first time they drop, imo it's like the first time you try something hard you'll suck at it. Then the next time you get better.

It really depends on how much amazonia you have in the tank. might take a day or two. It takes about a month or two to fully cycle amazonia and have it stop leeching ammonia. *you needa do water...

Use a wooden chopstick for a DiY diffuser. the ones in the red sleeves. Those work really well and do not require a large amount of psi. I've heard of using cotton but i never got it to work well.
