I rescaped the wood using krazy glue for the ferns, adding some trident ferns, and I like it much better. I hope the whitish crazy...

I must say you have quite the stamina! And patience! Edifying to read the thread, and three months does seem long.

Good luck, and keep us posted with the new substrate--you've done a thorough...

I have been experimenting with a small bottle (maybe 18 oz) for a 4G nano, and it poops out after two to three days.

I know 2L are preferred, but I have a small amount of surface area to work...

DIY CO2 in place, for the dress rehearsal at least. Wish me luck! Cannot seem to find consistent information about bubbles/minutes, which would seem to be logically proportionate to gallons. Am I...

Weeeellll..it looks like I have 4 males and 1 female--4 have varying degrees of the black thread fin, as they have colored up, and flare a lot. One is slimmer, without the thread fins, and gets...

Made a decision (small tanks are hard!) for new fish. I added 5 threadfin rainbows. Sort of easy to overlook but very cool. I think 5 will be okay, with only a shrimp and an oto in there. Maybe...

8 hours, 7100K bulb. Hydor Theo heater
Small amount of algae, though the most recent is a mildly disconcerting plum color on the wood....
