If you acclimate the Vals with excel they'll be fine, meaning half doses, watch and build upon the half doses. I have a tank full of Val's and use excel.

I get a traditional siphon and disconnect the vaccum portion so that all I have is the tube.

I feed, wait 30 40 mins

Have a bucket...
