I think what he is saying is the needle valve that is sold with the planted tank version of the aquatek regulator can be bought for 10.00 on a popular auction site.

Cheezy plug , but it maybe an option for you.

To this day I use them when first starting to dial in CO2 in a tank, thereafter I tweak by what the plants & fish are telling me.
