I use white vinegar, in a dollar store spray bottle ,that I keep under the tank in my stand, just for cleaning the outside of the tank and the glass cover.

My reasoning for the use of this is, instead of a heater and an intake in your tank, you have a heater/intake (all in one), thus eliminating a piece of equipment from the tank. :red_mouth

I feed micro pellets to my shrimp tank for 3 neons and I haven't seen any RCS deaths at all. I try to feed sparingly so that the neons get most of it and its not all over tank bottom.

No, I haven't seen him uprooting plants. He mainly hangs on his driftwood and comes out to mooch when I feed the other fish. He used to be a fairly decent algae eater, but now he is a fish food hog....
