Why y'all hatin' on the regulator? Looks like a Cornelius, which is one of the types that GLA uses for its rigs, and how many people have regulator issues with GLA? Yeah, it's a single stage, and...

I like being able to see wood and rocks - otherwise, what's the point of them? And I'm not a big fan of moss, which always looks messy to me. So having moss cover something, like driftwood,...

Maybe? Really tough to get a definitive answer, as it depends on lots of stuff.

I'd suggest building/buying both reactors and using tubing rather than plumbing them in. 10 bucks of tubing and...

I think conventional wisdom says that two pumps in series is a bad idea. Which doesn't mean it *is* a bad idea, but the second pump, I would guess, will have more strain on the motor, especially as...

I'm going to have to disagree. With the caveat that nothing is standard, I believe that unless somebody is running a very low CO2 level, they're not going to be able to do any counting for a 120g. ...

Nothing local for CO2 supplies. The AirGas place I've gone to is on the western end of Greensboro, which isn't too far from W-S. You can buy and swap for CO2 refills, but the tanks aren't pretty...

It's listed as parts/not working, and the inlet pressure gauge only goes to 400 psi. If it did actually work, the gauge would blow as soon as you hooked it up. Which probably wouldn't be a problem...

EOTD is a phrase that describes a worst-case-scenario as the result of pressure rise, which is a characteristic of *all* regulators, single or dual stage. Outlet pressure rises as inlet pressure...

Yeah, I've been wondering about having an issue with too low flow. It's rarely discussed, but then the super-low-flow valves aren't all that common. I still think you can overcome limits by...

If $30 is too high for you, then you should use whatever you can find. A good valve will make your life much easier, but if you really don't have the cash, that's probably as good as anything else...

Well, it's an oxygen regulator. Not sure about those two ports, but they look like they're on the high pressure side. Yes, the black knob is a flow valve, designed to tweak the volume of oxygen,...

5-10gph is a decent rule for total advertised filter capacity per gallon of tank water.

Another rule of thumb is that expensive filters actually move 1.5 to 2.0 X the water of cheap filters...

Aah, I didn't realize the first pic was from you, OP. Yes, you can connect that to a CGA320. A CGA320 nipple will screw directly into the regulator (it's a 1/4" NPT port). Just remove that fitting...

Yeah, you can do that too. It will just extend the outlet a little farther. You can have the regulator, then a 1/4 to 1/8 reducer, then the solenoid, then a 1/8 to 1/4 reducer, then metering valve,...

CO2 is liquid at around 800 psi, not 1800. Paintball and industrial cylinder pressures are the same.

I don't know of any adapters that go from paintball to CGA, so my guess is you're out of luck....

If it slides, the ferrules aren't clamping down (are there even ferrules under the nut?). Tighten finger-tight, and then 3/4 turn further with a wrench. It's semi-permanent, as the ferrules...

Yeah, the 1600 is much better than the S series. Swagelok doesn't make a series that compares to the Hoke 1600's, Brooks ELFs, or Parker HR series.
