I only ever had one dwarf puffer at a time but both my puffers died in this way. From what I've read it sounds like an internal parasite, but even soaking food in the medication didn't seem to work.

Can you talk more about the top of the tank. It's uncovered, right? With that much surface area, is it attracting alot of dirt? Do you have a skimmer of some type?
