If you are keeping cherry, yellow, snowball or blue pearl they should be ok long as pH is under 7.6 or under.

I have used japanese mineral rocks. They can be put in as layout and it's kind of like shirakura white powder made into rock. I have them in few tanks and I can't 100% sure of improvement of shrimps...

Ebiten shrimps do have very nice color shrimp.
Their white and red are very thick.
They are expensive and a lot of hard work they have, they are worth it.

I do have fluval ebi tank. When you put light, filters, soils and fill up the water, they get pretty heavy. I wouldn't put them on glass.

I have 4 tanks and having all same lights and only one tank having hair algae problem. I do turn lights 4-5hrs everyday. I have tetra algae control and want to know if it's safe to use it on shrimp...
