I doubt if the tank glass has shifted since it was purchased. I don't remember seeing a tank where all four corners were uneven but I'm sure it's happened.

The QD's for the 2260 and 2262 are the same parts and as far as I know, the 2260 is the only model that does not include the QD's as part of a filter purchase.

Just follow the instructions in the manual for removing the pump, it's pretty straightforward. You will need a long philips screwdriver to reach the screws though. The one I use has an 8" shaft.
