green water won't go away on it's own as long as there is a photoperiod it will replicate itself until nothing can get light. I've filled up numerous of buckets with green water from the same 20gal...

just don't cover up the original bacteria laden substrate, try to mix it in with the new, dumping old water from the 20 gal to the 58 could be a PITA if you want to keep it but new water python style...
