9 watt CF. Betta does fine. He's been in it from the beginning and had no issues. I don't dose this tank at all. I do biweekly 75% WCs and thats about it.

No CO2, no excel... nothing in the sand. I only dose the water column with dry ferts. EI dosing... started out modified dosing but decided to just hit it full on so I know for sure nothing lacks...

Will be a while... all goes well I'll still be able to do a dry start with the carpet. Still need lots of parts. I had something come up that i ended up spending the money on that I had for the sump....

1 T5H0 at that height is plenty for a 55 gallon. If you're running your lights more than 8hrs I'd highly recommend cutting it back. I'd also take a look at how much CO2 is actually getting diffused....

You could have one custom built but other than that the only thing with the same footprint is ADA 120-P. You could always cut out the overflow box and do a closed loop thru the bulkheads though....

Its a Deepblue Edge 75 gallon... Wasn't my first choice, but I seriously didn't want to pay $2000+ for a custom, and the stories about the seams on the ADA tanks talked me out of a 120-P overflow....
