I am just worried that I will lose a bunch of plants, due to a water issue. I wasn't expecting the plants to thrive in my setup, but also wasn't expecting them to die.

My first real foray into planted tanks. I ordered a 24 plant assortment from aquariumplants.com, because I wasn't sure what I wanted, and I figured that a variety would give me a some good hands on...

i am not a pro, but considering the size of your tank, and the lighting you currently have, i would say lighting is a higher priority than co2.

Anyone know of an active site where you can find breeders in your area to purchase fish from? I have been googling for over an hour ... looking for apistos/rams breeders in Western NY ... no luck

I am setting up a 75g tank, South American themed. I intend on stocking it with two largish (16+ fish) groups of 1 inch schooling fish (tetras?!) and one or two groups of (5 or so) dwarf cichlids ......

Tank Drilling Question

I have a nearly 10 year old 75g perfecto ... I know the bottom is tempered, but does anyone know whether the sides are also tempered?

I was considering having it drilled for some bulk heads ...
